Daniel Sousa Botelho, a first generation Portuguese American and a father of two, was born on February 10, 1978 in Fall River, MA. He attended elementary and middle school in the Fall River Public School System and went on to Bishop Connolly which at the time was a Jesuit High school. In 2004, he graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth with a concentration in Finance and Economics.
He has seen recent employment from such companies as Putnam Investments, as a Fund Accountant; Brown Brothers Harriman, as a Hedge Fund Financial Reporting Analyst; and currently with Bank of America as an Officer Senior Operations Analyst in the Global Financial Operations (GFO) group.
He believes that as someone who is a middle class American with real world knowledge that he could better represent the people as their candidate. He is outgoing, outspoken, and a driven individual that will fight for taxes, energy, and entitlement reforms. He is about making a difference for ordinary citizens.
Elections are not won with money alone; hard work and determination will go a long way this election season. He wants to bring this common sense message to Washington, DC together as Americans we will make a positive difference.
